Two New User Contributed Probes Available

January 8, 2013 -- Thanks to Xavier Bensemhoun of Rhapirou.net for contributing 2 new probes, which are currently available for download by all InterMapper customers from the InterMapper website. In the Switch/Firewall/Router Monitoring category, feel free to download the Check Point Smart-1 Security Appliance Probe. This is a system and functional state probe for Check Point Security Management installed on Smart-1. Status information is queried from:

• All Check Point products: Firewall-1, VPN-1, FloodGate-1, High Availability (ClusterXL), Secure Virtual Network, Management, Web Access Module, Desktop Policy Server and Log Server
• CPU, RAM and Disks
• Processes, user sessions and basic OS information

In the Miscellaneous category, feel free to download the Riverbed/Steelhead Mobile Controller (SMC) Probe. This is a system and functional state probe for Riverbed/Steelhead Mobile Controller devices. Status information is queried from:

• CPU and processes
• SH Mobile activites: connected, healthy, degraded, critical and disabled
• Licenses: total and in use
