Solutions Architect - Sales Engineer

Job Description

BlueAlly is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team and serve in a Pre-sales capacity as a Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) and trusted advisor to our Southeast Sales team. 

This position is remote but candidates must currently reside in one of the following areas: North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Significant experience with network solutions from Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and Extreme along with security experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, and Cisco 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are critical
  • Previous experience working with any of the above manufacturers a plus or experience working in a value added reseller environment
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology as technical engineer or sales engineer interfacing directly with client executives
  • Knowledge of Enterprise level networking design and architecture concepts and technologies
  • Knowledge and clear understanding of Managed Service Provider model and how managed services can either augment or offset client's requirements
  • Knowledge of DataCenter technologies 
  • Advanced Certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet are highly desired
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Network Engineering or Computer Science
